It is apparent that a lot of the work is done by phone or in person via travel and face to face meetings. The adults were fat, your children were fat! They just laid around all day long meals doing no exercise what so ever and to quote the captain, "Computer, define dancing". I mean, if you believe back to your younger years, the chances are you remember that you possessed additional free time and quite a few less responsibilities.
