I found this book, and the entire Earth Life Series, being powerfully transformative. Written simply and lovingly, these teachings ring as true today while they did at publication in 1986. These are the same truths every master from every era taught, updated for modern time. They deal specifically with the everyday thoughts and circumstances we face now. French Spiderman Alain Robert has finished his latest climbing the tallest building on earth. Alain has successfully reached the top from the tapered spire across the 160th floor with the building. The 47-year-old is known for climbing buildings around the world just using bare hands and climbing shoes. The story shocked me more than usual because I know my friend is a fairly good martial artist. He is often dubbed as 'talented' by his colleagues and superiors. What's wrong with this story? In theory, he may have wasted the thief quickly while he clearly had no weapon with him. According to him, he didn't know what to do. He knew how he could subdue such assault but he just did not know how to handle it at that time.
