This picture amazingly captures the think layer of clouds over the valley nearby the south of Lake Como, northern Italy. In the above image, the dense cloud hides almost the valley leaving some artificial lights that will make the location like an opaque blanket. The village over distance is clearly seen out from the blanket. Efforts are created to protect once abundant asiatic elephants.Elephants are threatened by poaching for tusks,from the decrease of habitat due to human pressure on forested areas and due to human conflict.The isolated populations of wild elephants in individual wildlife sanctuaries can also be threatened by decrease of genetic diversity.Recently several corridors connecting wildlife sanctuaries have been in existence to encourage the migration of wild elephants. The UK glass industry is pursuing an active programme on energy efficiency and decarbonisation. But building the business case to secure funds remains a barrier. Capital costs can be very high and paybacks periods are often in excess of two years; traditional loans are usually unattractive for this work.
