Germany is the world's first international auto show. The Frankfurt motor show, formerly known as the Berlin motor show, was founded in 1897 and moved to Frankfurt in 1951, with a rotation of cars and commercial vehicles each year. The Frankfurt motor show is the world's largest auto show and is known as the "motor Olympics". The Frankfurt international motor show, which is held every two years, is normally scheduled for about two weeks in mid-september. The exhibitors are mainly from Europe, the United States and Japan, especially European auto dealers.
