For years, car and motorcycle enthusiasts have been replacing their standard steel wheels with larger alloy wheels and hubcaps. At a glance, it's easy to realise why these alloy wheels have grown to be quite popular. Not only do they feature a smoother ride than regular steel wheels, but also they look flashier and permit vehicles to square out. This trend hasn't been lost on manufacturers; even new SUVs, compact cars and vans are coming furnished with large and flashy alloy wheels.
The black-tie awards ceremony was held on 15 June at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, at the centre of the country’s great east-west glass manufacturing corridor – where nine out of ten of the UK’s largest glass manufacturers have production sites.
