The Alpaca Silk Aran yarn is made up of 80% Alpaca and 20% silk. This means that it is extremely soft but in addition includes a lovely sheen with it that comes through the addition of silk. Very jerky ride when it changes gears from D1 to D2, there is a delay in the transmission engaging. I took it with a dealer with 1000 miles and they also said they were upgrading the application which would fix it, nothing changed.
