Vancouver's Celebration of Light is the largest firework competition on the planet, attracting around 1.six million spectators annually. In 2009, Canada, South Africa, the UK and China do battle during four nights of amazing displays over English Bay. Each country presents a complete display, with dates as follows; Canada on 22 July, South Africa on 25 July, the UK on 29 July and China on 1 August.
