What is the priciest car to insure? According to Insure.com's 2010 annual survey of car insurance costs, the most high-priced car to insure could be the Porsche 911 Carrera GT2, a 2-door coupe costing typically about $2900 per year to insure. The car itself carries a sticker price of around $195,000. Apart from the fact that the Porsche is costly, it is just a small fast car which has a high horsepower of 530. Four from the 10 most high-priced cars to insure this season have been Porsche models and three are Mercedes models.
