The 2010 Audi R8 lineup gains a new, better model. This 2-seat exotic car has Audi's quattro all-wheel drive as well as a mid-mounted engine. The entry-level 4.2 has a 420-horsepower 4.2-liter V8 engine. New for 2010 will be the 5.2, which carries a 525-horsepower 5.2-liter V10. Both models can be obtained which has a 6-speed manual transmission or Audi's R tronic 6-speed automated manual. Available security features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, side airbags, and knee airbags. Standard features on all R8 models include leather upholstery, heated seats, and wireless cell-phone link.
Very jerky ride when it changes gears from D1 to D2, there is a delay in the transmission engaging. I took it with a dealer with 1000 miles and they also said they were upgrading the application which would fix it, nothing changed.
