Once you have your railroad theme, track shape and size in your mind it is a great idea to have a scale-sized track plan in front of you while you work. I have used both full-sized track plans from your CAD system and scale sized track plans. Illumination: Works with the lights because it is suppose to. Love the custom color option. No flickering noted. I have even an amp, two 12in woofers along with a cap within the trunk. I guess the screen brightness would bother people at night. I have no difficulties with it. I don't know whether or not this features a auto feature but the app screen lock will shut off your screen. Screen Mirroring: Don't really value this feature sense, as I talked about earlier, readily stored away a tablet for the car. I did attempt to get this to work, but I has not been successful. I did not put 100% effort into this. Most states have laws have you been are not allowed to be holding an electronic device while driving, so I do not require this feature. Steering Wheel Controls: No issues. Works similar to my GA5150 did. The call button does not work because it did for factory unit. This was not a deal breaker for me personally.
