Just to the 20th century, furniture makers began making "woodies" as a sideline with their businesses. They would purchase a car or truck with out a body, and build a physique from wood. These custom vehicles were often build like small buses and were commonly used by resorts to transport guest from railroad depots. They weren?t called woodies in those days. Rather, these were called "depot hacks". In the horse-drawn days, a "hack" would have been a wagon. One of the suggestions I built to the property owner was that he should add some protocols for the company?s security policy regarding how managers handle cash payments from customers plus include some rules about after hours usage of shop facilities and shop equipment. To my surprise, the dog owner said his company had no security policy. At the time, I was surprised. But since then I have realized more and more smaller businesses (even some medium sized-businesses) who have no written security policy. Of those businesses who actually stood a written security policy, many we had not reviewed or updated their policy in many years. An IHS automotive analyst pointed out that whilst the purchase is a real fine one, it is strategically insignificant. He noted that Ducati sales, which sold 42,000 bikes next year alone, will be more compared to the sales of two of Volkswagen's other brands combined, most simply view motorcycles as an accessory instead of an authentic automotive counterpart.
